The Sanctuary: Oak Meadow Ranch

Nestled in the scenic countryside of Valley View, Texas—approximately 45-60 minutes from Dallas/Fort Worth—Oak Meadow Ranch is an enchanting wildlife sanctuary and working ranch that offers a rare opportunity to slow down and reconnect with what truly matters. Family-owned and lovingly tended, this sacred space was created to bring you home to nature, stillness, and soul-deep serenity.

From the moment you arrive, you’ll feel the pace shift. The ranch invites you to explore its many peaceful corners—wander meditation pathways, read under the trees in a hammock, relax in the game room, or enjoy the pool and hot tub under the stars. Meet the friendly free-roaming animals, and choose from one-of-a-kind add-ons like an otter or buffalo swim, a soothing facial, or a healing massage.

Each evening concludes with a five-star chef-prepared dinner, followed by a deeply restorative sound bath featuring crystal singing bowls, chimes, gongs, rain sticks, wind makers, and more—designed to lull you into rest, release, and renewal.

Valley View is known for its rolling hills, equestrian charm, and warm, welcoming community. Located in historic Cooke County near Lake Ray Roberts, it offers the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable retreat experience grounded in nature, connection, and ease.

How Should I Get to the Retreat Center?

The retreat will be held at Oak Meadow Ranch in Valley View, Texas, approximately one hour from Dallas/Fort Worth.

  • Driving: On-site parking is available and free for all guests.
  • Flying: We recommend flying into Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) on Sunday morning and booking your return flight for Wednesday evening, giving yourself plenty of time for arrival and departure.

We ask that all guests arrive at Oak Meadow Ranch at 4:00 PM on Sunday to settle in, explore the grounds, and prepare for our Opening Ceremony. The retreat will officially conclude at 12:00 PM on Wednesday following our Closing Ceremony.

Who Is This Retreat For?

This retreat is for everyone—from all walks of life and at all stages of the journey. While participants must be 21 or older, there are no upper age limits or experience requirements. Whether you're completely new to yoga or a seasoned practitioner, you'll find value, connection, and transformation here.

At the core of our ethos is the belief that we grow stronger together. We learn, heal, and evolve through community—and the sharing of wisdom across generations, life experiences, and backgrounds is an essential part of that growth. This diversity is what makes each retreat group so uniquely special.

Our sessions are beginner-friendly, but even the most advanced yogis will find depth and insight in this work. And no—this isn’t the yoga you see on Instagram. You won’t find handstands or performance-based poses here.

This is trauma-informed yoga, rooted in nervous system regulation, self-awareness, and choice. Every practice is designed to meet you exactly where you are—physically, emotionally, and energetically. You’ll be gently guided to reconnect with your body, reclaim your breath, and cultivate a deeper sense of presence, safety, and inner strength.

Come exactly as you are. No pressure. No expectations. Just space to be, breathe, and begin again.

Can Pets Come?

While we love animals, we kindly ask that you leave your pets at home. Oak Meadow Ranch is home to free-ranging wildlife, and to ensure the safety and well-being of all animals and guests, no outside pets or animals are permitted on the property—including service animals.

We appreciate your understanding and care in helping us maintain a safe and peaceful environment for everyone.

What If I need to cancel?

All retreat deposits are non-refundable due to the detailed planning of this experience. Payment is due in full at booking. We do not offer any refunds. For this reason, we highly recommend purchasing third-party travel insurance! You can review our Terms & Conditions here.
