Spring on the Ranch
Spring brings rain, renewal, and purposeful realignment with your inner goals and focus for the year ahead. Here on the Ranch we rejoiced in this rejuvenation with a spring yoga retreat, a bountiful Easter, and were blessed with the arrival of new babies to our home. We are embracing this season of growth with foundations for upcoming Conservation work being laid, as well as our ever-present commitment to growing with our beloved Wildlife.
Here's what we've been up to recently:
Yoga Retreat with The Royal Healing Tribe
With an emphasis on nourishing our spirits and bodies, retreats on the Ranch are truly magical. We hosted a 3-day Yoga retreat with Lana O'Rourke of the Royal Healing Tribe in early April. Our participants enjoyed woodland walks, yoga sessions, gourmet meals, journaling workshops, heartfelt wildlife encounters, sound baths, meditation, breath work, camaraderie, healing and so much more.
Easter Sunday
Easter started out beautifully with an inspiring message from Pastor Nelson in our Serenity Chapel about the spirit of Christ in us and our calling to share the word of God with others. After a delicious brunch with Chef Navarro we had a visit from the Easter Bunny! He hid treats for both kids and adults and all had an egg-celent time before starting the Wildlife Tour.
New Babies on the Ranch
We joyfully announce the arrival of Jigsaw the Reticulated Giraffe. He comes to us from Tanganyika Wildlife Park and is 7 months old. He and Puzzles are bonding incredibly well and we are delighted to have him home.
Bindi is a Bennetts Wallaby and is 8 months old. She loves snuggles and treats! She is such a sweet blessing to us. We look forward to being able to showcase the difference between her and our Red Kangaroos and Wallaroos!
